Hsiao-Chin Hung was recognized as a “gifted child” and pursued her studies at the Konservatorium der Stadt Wien in Austria under the tutelage of Professor Alexander Öhlberger. She won first prize at the 14th International Chamber Music Competition in Switzerland and performed at the International Chamber Music Festival in France, receiving high praise.
After returning to Taiwan, she has been dedicated to teaching and regularly organizes solo recital tours and chamber music concerts. Currently, she serves as the principal oboist of the Kaohsiung Wind Orchestra, Tainan Symphony Orchestra, and the Taiwan Soloists Symphony Orchestra. She is also the artistic director of the Yun-Tsai Chamber Ensemble and holds positions as an adjunct associate professor in the music departments of National Kaohsiung Normal University, National University of Tainan, and Tainan University of Technology.
