Graduated from Cheng Hsing Elementary School, Da Yi Junior High School’s Wind Ensemble, Kaohsiung Senior High School’s Mechanical Engineering Department, and the Department of Music at National Kaohsiung Normal University. Studied trumpet under Professor Tang Da-wei, and also received instruction from Lin Yong-shun, Hsieh Tsung-ju, Chang Chia-ming, Deng Shi-ping, Zheng Kai, and Li Hsien-neng. Currently serves as the conductor for the Ming Yi Junior High School Band, the Kaohsiung Senior High School Band, and the Kaohsiung Civic Wind Orchestra.

He has also taught trumpet at Qian Jin Elementary School, Kaohsiung Longhua Elementary School, Qian Jin Junior High School, Cheng Hsing Junior High School, Kaohsiung Commercial High School, and is the Principal Trumpet for the Taiwan Soloists Symphony Orchestra, Tainan City Symphony Orchestra, and Kaohsiung City Wind Orchestra. Additionally, he is the leader of the Brilliant Brass Quintet.

He is dedicated to music education and performance, frequently performing with the Kaohsiung Symphony Orchestra, Kaohsiung Civic Wind Orchestra, Taiwan Soloists Symphony Orchestra, Tainan City Symphony Orchestra, and Tai-Bang Soloists Orchestra, among others.
