Holds an additional Honorary Doctorate of Performance from the Saarland University of Music in Germany, a Master’s degree from the Munich University of Music and Performing Arts, and a Bachelor’s degree from the National Taipei University of the Arts. In 2019, he won the Silver Medal at the 20th Walter Stauffer International Violin Competition in Germany. He also won the top prize in the National Student Music Competition’s Collegiate Division A for violin in 2012 and was awarded the Kuandu New Sound prize by Taipei National University of the Arts in the same year.
His performance career includes participation in numerous domestic and international orchestras and music festivals. Since 2013, he has regularly performed with the Taiwan Connection Chamber Music Ensemble, invited by violinist Hu Naiyuan, and has served as Principal Violinist for the Asian Youth Orchestra, the Pacific Music Festival in Japan, and the North German Music Festival. In 2018, he was invited by Korean conductor Jung Myung-whun to perform with the Asian Philharmonic Orchestra in Seoul. Since 2019, he has been the violinist for the renowned French conductorless ensemble Les Dissonances, performing at the George Enescu Festival in Romania and the Besançon International Music Festival in France.
After returning to Taiwan in 2022, he founded the Bermuny Quartet, and serves as a mentor for the Taitung Echo Orchestra and as Assistant Concertmaster for the Bay Sound Orchestra.
