Lin Shang-jung, a flutist trained in France, currently serves as the Principal Flutist for the Kaohsiung City Wind Orchestra and other prominent domestic ensembles. She is an active flutist in Taiwan, performing in solo, orchestral, and chamber music settings.
From a young age, she received comprehensive music education in Taiwan and frequently won first place in the National Student Music Competition for flute solos. After graduating from the Department of Music at National Taipei University of the Arts, she pursued further studies in France, earning advanced performance diplomas in flute and chamber music from the École Normale de Musique de Paris.
Since returning to Taiwan, she has been actively involved in a diverse range of performance activities. In addition to her specialization in classical music, she has participated in game music recording sessions. She is also dedicated to teaching, passing on her performance experience to the next generation. Lin Shang-jung excels in both performance and teaching, making her a well-rounded and accomplished flutist.
