Born in Pingtung City, he began his musical journey in the choir class at Hesheng Elementary School and went on to study at Provincial Pingtung High School and Fu Jen Catholic University’s Department of Music. He studied French horn under Liu Hsing-hai and Lai Ri-sheng.

Served in the Ministry of National Defense Demonstration Band from July 2002 to February 2004. From 2006 to 2014, he was a Principal French Horn player with the Kaohsiung Symphony Orchestra.

From April 2009 to December 2017, he hosted the “Music Showcase” program on Kaohsiung Radio Station.
Currently, he teaches French horn at several schools in southern Taiwan and serves as the conductor of the Qixian Junior High School Orchestra in Kaohsiung. He is also the Principal French Horn player for the Kaohsiung City Wind Orchestra.
